What have I learnt from relying on my optical nerve?/
That beauty can be painted on a horrible turd/
You can push it out in public to sing songs that you've heard/
And if enough people watch it it's the God of the earth/
What have you earnt, are you famous? If not when's your turn?/
Int your goal to make it big? Is that what you'd prefer?
What about music? Apparently that's not our concern/
We make judgements with our eyes, everybody's observed/
Out of 2 I'd give her one. Who's fatty? We're all to blame/
Forget people have names, and label ‘em as they came/
And saying they must be gay or make an outrageous claim/
We instinctively brand people again and again/
But it's time to fight the instincts and start with your eyes/
Cos for thousands of years the human heart has survived/
By relying on the eyes to tell it what is a threat/
And if something differs to you then it'll definitely get/
The better of your vexed level through jealousy and stress/
Or through ridiculing them for being intelligent or less/
You're a nerd, you're a thicko, you're too common and you're posh/
You're ugly, you dumb blonde, you're fat, go get a wash/
Meaningless labels make us feel superior to others/
When clearly it just covers, our fear of being discovered/
Found out as self-esteem-less weirdos who love their mothers/
It's just your eyes lying that causes us all to suffer//

Well since birth we've learned to use words to speak/
To determine the terms and in turn to teach/
As we yearn to reach the level they said that the Messiah can/
People preach love but then practice to frighten man/

It's called a moral code/
You give respect and in return you get respect that's owed/

Well it's the same in how you want others to be with you/

I listened in to try and hear what the apostles did/
But lost it when I couldn't find the way in which the fossils fit/
I got the same faith as atheists but opposite/
Heard about the space age aliens it's obvious/
High flying lizards in the monarchy on top of us/
And drop it now cos that's the same hearsay that's stopping us/
I got a problem with dishonesty and violence/
Cos all I want to do is seek the truth and not meet liars/
In an instance I can segregate your sentences disguises/
I'm not meaning to be righteous/
I just know what's wrong from right cos…that's the truth//
